TILDA SWINTON's Own Film Fest

Academy Award winning actress Tilda Swinton is joining Robert De Niro (TRAILER) and Robert Redford's club of film festival founders. Extravagantly branded & named, "The Ballerina Ballroom Cinema of Dreams" out of the box film festival will be held in a rented ballroom in her home town of Nairn in northern Scotland at the end of August. Swinton decided to create - and pay for - a fest that would run 8 1/2 days and that would be a six out of 10 on the grunge scale. Home-made cakes and fish finger sandwiches will be served and the bash's tickets would be only Ł3/Ł2 according to the event's website. [J.B./FILM-TV.COM]

KIDMAN To Paparazzi: Leave Baby Alone!

Actress Nicole Kidman, next to be seen in movie "Australia" (TRAILER) and singer husband Keith Urban asked the paparazzi on Thursday to leave them and baby daughter 'Sunday Rose' alone, saying she was a "tiny doll" who would be scared by the attention. "Keith and I are both appealing to the press and stuff just to give us a little space so we can walk around Sydney and show the baby our town", Kidman told Sydney radio station 2Day FM.
